How the Integration Works
Poster has an open API. An external loyalty platform connects and gets:
Customer Sync
All customers from Poster automatically flow into the platform. Name, phone, birthday, group, bonus balance. Syncs every 1-6 hours. New customers appear automatically.
Deleted from Poster — deleted from the platform too. Poster remains the source of truth.
Transaction Sync
Every closed check in Poster is recorded in the platform: amount, date, location, customer. This gives a complete picture: who, when, how much. Without this data, analytics are impossible.
Incremental sync: new transactions are pulled every hour. Full history is loaded during initial setup — week by week, to avoid overloading the API.
Bonus Management
The platform can add and redeem points through the Poster API. Automatic earning for birthdays, referrals, promotions — everything shows up in both Poster and the customer's mobile app.
